Governor Alex Otti reveals the amount which runs into billions that his predecessor, Okezie Ikpeazu allegedly paid out for non-existent projects in Abia state

The governor revealed this while addressing Abia Indigenes at an event in the United States which is aimed at encouraging investment in the South-East state, Otti revealed that he invited one of the top audit firms in the world to carry out a forensic audit.

Some of the projects Ikpeazu allegedly paid for include a non-existent airport. He also stated that his administration is involving security agencies to step in and help them with the search/Investigation of those monies.

Otti further revealed that the billions paid for the non-existent airport were used to clear off pension and salary arrears owed for 10 years.
