The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, has won the prestigious NG Award for the best website/portal for Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Nursing in Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Zailani Bappa,
Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations, ATBU made available to Journalists on Monday in Bauchi.
It said the NG Award is a Nigerian annual award that cuts across several professional fields.
“The Award was presented on Saturday, 18th November, 2023 to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Abdulazeez, who was represented by Professor Dalhat Bala Sulaiman at Shell Hall, Muson Center, Race Course, Marina, Lagos.
“The award for best website/portal for tertiary institutions was completed by eleven shortlisted institutions that included the University of Lagos, Usman DanFodio University, Sokoto and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, among others.
The statement said Professor AbdulAzeez dedicated the award to the resilient staff of the University who, collectively, are poised to the realization of a World Class University in ATBU.
