The Kano State House of Assembly has approved Governor Yusuf Abba Kabir’s request for the appointment of 25 Special Advisers.
The speaker of the House, Rt. hon Jibril Falgore, read the request letter on the floor of the house during its sitting on Monday.
Members deliberated and gave green light to the request, noting that, the earlier the request is granted, the earlier changes and development will be seen in the entire state looking at how big the state is.
Earlier, the house held a valedictory session in honour of the late former speaker, Late Yusuf Abdullahi Falgore, who was described as a great personality and impacted on the lives of people around him.
Stallion Times reports that Late Falgore passed on last Sunday and the house held a special prayer for him, praying also to God to forgive his sins and his soul to rest in peace.
He served as Speaker of the Kano State of Assembly from June 6th, 2011- 20th December.
