Journalist sacked for provoking gov. Zulum gets appointment with TRT Turkey

A Journalist who was reportedly sacked by his employer for provoking Borno governor has been employed by international station.

 

 

Adamu Aliyu Ngulde, a Maiduguri based journalist, who was recently sacked by his employer, Al-Ansar radio and television, has gotten a new employment.

 

Maidawaarewa reported that he is employed by a Turkish media organization, Turkish Radio Television, TRT Hausa Service.

 

Mr. Aliyu revealedthat he received the appointment on Wednesday last week, following the termination of his appointment by his former employer.

 

 

According to reports, Aliyu was sacked by his former employer in March for provoking Borno State governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, who elleged that a program he was anchoring is bias to his government.

 

 

The governor odered the closure of the media station but was later relieved.

 

Aliyu is said to be a popular voice on various television and radio programs in Maiduguri, the northeast region and it’s environs.

 

Before now, he has worked with several media organizations both as a permanent employee and a freelicence.

The popular broadcaster was sacked by Al-Ansar weeks after his wedding.

 

 

He is now TRT’s correspondent for Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States respectively.
