The National Assembly has announced that it will not be resuming on the 14th March as earlier scheduled.
A statement signed by the clerk of the House of Representatives Dr. Yahaya Danzaria Esq, stated that the postponement is to enable the honorable members partake in the Governorship and state houses of assembly election which was rescheduled to Saturday the 18th of march.
The statement reads:
“This is to inform all Hon Members and the general public that the House of Representatives will resume plenary on Tuesday 21st March, 2023 at 11:00am as against the 14th of March earlier announced.
“This change is intended to allow Members partake in the rescheduled Gubernatorial elections. All inconveniences are highly regretted.
