Doyin Okukpe has revealed that he was arrested and detained at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos on Thursday 12 January where he was travelling to the united kingdom for medicals.
Okukpe revealed that he has been released by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime commission and that he has left the EFCC office after the senior officials apologised to him.
Okukpe however, did not revealed why he was arrested or what they were accusing him of, but he wrote on twitter.
He said:
“I was arrested & detained @ the MMIA, Lagos this morning, 12th Jan on my way to UK for medicals; years after my passport had been withheld by the FHC Abuja.
I just left the EFCC office where Snr Officers in Lagos & Abuja appologised to me for the error”.
