Mr Frank Geng Quarong the Chinese national who is standing trial over the murder of his lover in Kano state has spoken.
According to Mr Geng, he spent up to sixty million naira on Ummita during their two years old coutship with the deceased.
He said:
” I spent 60 million naira on Ummita during our two years relationship… I use to take her to places like Bristol palace and Central Hotel to eat food.
” I bought her a house worth 4 million and a car worth ten million. I gave her 18 million as capital to start business and spent 500,000 worth of bags and shoes in her new shop. I also bought lace worth one million for her plus a house she started building in Abuja.
” I bought her gold wears worth five million and gave her six million naira to go and process her certificate at Sokoto state University. I gave another one million for solar to be installed in her house.
” When we started preparing for our wedding, I bought her a wedding dress worth 1.5 million and paid 700,000 for her friends Aso Ebi.
” On 13th September 2022, she requested some money to be used in the house she’s building in Abuja but I didn’t give her because I didn’t have money then.
