Hon. Dr. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, member representing Bassa/Jos North federal Constituency, has tasked the youths to give their unconditional support to the president Mohammadu Buhari APC led administration. The lawmaker also advised the students against acts capable of jeopardising their future.
The member was speaking lastweek when he received the Ahmadu Bello University Students Representative Council (ABUSRC) who were on a courtesy visit in his office at the National Assembly In Abuja.
The president of the association Comr. Musa Lawal Kankara expressed his gratitude to the Hon. Member in view of his continues support for education, as well as his relentless effort in executing so many educational projects across his constituency.
The President equally appreciate the Hon. Member prompt and relentless effort in assisting students both kind and in cash and call on him to use his office to add his voice to their agitation for increased in budgetory allocation to educational sector and call for policy reforms in the country for economic growth.
Highlights of the visits, was the presentation of an award for the “epitome of good leadership” to the law maker by the members of the association which according to the president, he was nominated by the Plateau State Students Association.
However, the lawmaker thanked the students for their visit/award and raising a fundemental /important issue,In his remarks, the law maker urged the students to work hard and also perticipate in activities that will help in promoting the educational standard in the country. He further assured them that he will speak to all those involved as far as education is concerned.
