Kaduna State Emergency management Agency has recovered the bodies of 5 students who allegedly drown yesterday wednesday in a river, the bodies were recovered with the support of the local divers.
The bodies have been deposited at the Saint Gerald Catholic Hospital in Kaduna. The students were declared missing on Wednesday after a boat had capsized in a river in Kaduna. They were on an excursion at a waterworks facility at the Kaduna River in the state capital.
The Executive Secretary to Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency, Ezekiel Baba-Karik has confirmed the incident to Channels TV, and further disclosed that four other students were rescued and taken to Barau Dikko Teaching hospital in the state capital.
