An accident at Bolingo junction in area 10 abuja involving a taxi and a bus with Ten passengers were reported to have sustained injuries on Sunday. According to NANS reports, the bus was heading to Kwara State.
Some of the pessengers who spoke to newsmen said the accident was as a result of disregard to trafic rules on the side of the bus driver. The victims has since been rush to the national hospital Abuja.
Mr. Ahmed Mumuni, another victim, who works as a security guard at the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, said the driver refused to listen to the passengers, who pleaded with him to reduce speed.
“We saw that the bus driver was speeding and begged him to be careful, but he refused to heed our pleas. See where it has landed everyone now,’’ he said.
The doctor on duty refused to comment, says he was not in a position to speak on behalf of the hospital.However, an anonymous wworker at the hospital said, the victims in coma had been resuscitated and the injured are being attended to.
