VIEWER DISCRETION – 4 KILLED IN A NEW ATTACK IN MAIDUGURI

About Four people were reportedly killed while at least 16other got wounded including four policemen in a suicide bomb attack in a garage near Muna of Maiduguri, Borno State.
According to the Chairman Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Engr Ahmed Satomi, the incident occured on Wednesday around 3:45pm,  Engr Ahmad said one of the two suicide bombers approached a police patrol vehicle parked along the road and detonated an improvised explosive device attached to his body, killing himself and two nearby civilians.
One of the suicide bombers approached the police patrol vehicle and detonated explosive devices on her body. Four policemen were injured and immediately evacuated to the hospital,” Satomi disclosed.
He further said, the second bomber came from a market nearby and had attempted to grab a staff of SEMA who was engaged in the rescue operation and evacuation of victims of the earlier explosion. But staff sensed some denervation and decide to run into another direction,  where the military later gun down the bumber after a hot chase.
The police Explosive Ordinance Department (EOD) was mobilized to the scene later to detonate the IEDs strapped to the bomber’s body.
