?In Imo State, troops of Operation UDO KA, in collaboration with the 34 Artillery Brigade, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Police Force, and the Department of State Services (DSS), rescued 10 abducted prospective NYSC members following an attack on two commercial buses along the Onitsha–Owerri Road in Mbaise Local Government Area on October 1.
Police accounts confirmed that both vehicles were recovered at the scene while search and rescue operations continue for remaining victims.
?Simultaneously in Adamawa State, troops of the 226 Battalion in Garkida and the 232 Battalion in Garaha repelled coordinated midnight attacks by terrorists in Gombi and Hong Local Government Areas.
