World Teachers Day: Parents, Advised to Utilise Government Educational Opportunities

Parents have been advised to strive hard to ensured that they utilized every available opportunities provided by the government to educate their children to enable them achieve their set goals.

 

Speaking during the World Teachers Day celebration held at the Federal Government College Minna recently, the Principal of the College, Alhaji Sirajo Dar’dau, frowned at the flagrance abuse of the platform created at the school to keep both parents and the school authority abreast with development.

According to the principal, e Education was crucial and any attempt to jettison the process in all forms will adversely affects the society.

He stressed that both teachers and parents must close ranks to achieve excellence performance of their wards for the survival of the society and larger community.

The Principal also affirmed that the deliberate attempts to make the institution a centre of excellence and attraction, had remained the watchword and it needed the collective responsibility of the stakeholders to actualize the feat.

He used the opportunity to encourage both students and teachers not to relent towards hardwork with dedication to distinguished themselves at all times.
