Governor Babagana Umara Zulum will on Monday 9th December present the 2025 Budget to the State house of assembly.
This was made known in a statement signed by the state commissioner of information Professor Usman Tar.
The statement reads;
By the powers vested on him by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), the Executive Governor of Borno State, His Excellency Prof Babagana Umara Zulum will be presenting the 2025 budget to the Borno State House of Assembly on Monday 9th December 2024.
The budget presentation provides a platform for Gov Zulum to set in motion the monetary and fiscal projections of his administration for the year 2025, and make important policy pronouncements thereto.
In view of this, key stakeholders including senior government officials, party officials and supporters, the organised private sector, civil society and citizens are expected to assemble at the Borno House of Assembly to honour this important constitutional event.
