The North East Development Commission (NEDC) and Lobito Group for Asiwaju have partnered to distribute essential instructional materials to 96,000 primary, junior, and senior secondary school students across 20 local government areas in Bauchi State.
At the inauguration, National Coordinator Malam Usman Yau on Saturday in Bauchi
highlighted the initiative’s importance, stating it empowers underprivileged children and boosts learning.
The materials include exercise books, school bags, whiteboards, shoes, textbooks, mathematical sets, and calculators.
Yau emphasized the importance of this initiative is to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged children.
Alhaji Mustapha Zarami, APC State Secretary, also commended NEDC and Lobito Group for investing in Bauchi’s education and future.
This partnership demonstrates the commitment of NEDC and Lobito Group to supporting education in the region.

Beneficiary Sani Adamu, a pupil from Alkaleri local government, expressed gratitude, acknowledging that the materials will greatly aid learning.
