The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has embarked on a nationwide sensitization campaign to reinforce the significance of Nigeria’s National Anthem and National Values Charter.

Speaking at a press conference in Bauchi, NOA Director General Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu emphasized the campaign’s importance in addressing diminishing patriotism and loyalty.

“We must prioritize promoting unity and shared values,” Issa-Onilu stated. “It’s time to rebuild citizens’ sense of duty to Nigeria.”

The DG, represented by National Director Planing and Strategy Alhaji Nura Kobi
Quoting President Bola Tinubu, he added, “We must build Nigerians to build Nigeria.”

According to him, the National Anthem reflects Nigeria’s struggles, aspirations, and commitment to justice and prosperity.

The National Values Charter outlines seven government promises, including equality, peace, and security.

State Director Mrs. Theresa Omaga urged media, civil society, traditional institutions, and Nigerians in the diaspora to support the movement.

“Let us sing the National Anthem with pride, recognizing it as a call to action for building a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria.”
