In a show of unity and strength, Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Ilya Damagun, led a delegation of PDP Chairmen from six Northeastern states on a solidarity visit to Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.
As the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Governor Mohammed played host to the delegation, which included PDP Chairmen from Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, and Borno States.
The meeting aimed to tackle the challenges facing the party and explore strategies to fortify its structures across the region and the country.
Ambassador Damagun stressed the importance of unity within the party, emphasizing that the meeting was crucial in addressing critical issues and reinforcing the PDP’s position nationally.
Gov. Mohammed expressed his gratitude for the visit, reaffirming his commitment to supporting the PDP and its leadership.
He pledged the Forum’s continuous backing of the party’s National Working Committee and its efforts to drive the party forward.
Mohammed said the solidarity visit demonstrated the PDP’s commitment to unity and strength and aimed to tackle the challenges facing the party.
The meeting concluded with a closed-door session, where the delegation deliberated on party matters to chart a way forward for the PDP. With this show of unity and strength, the PDP is poised to move forward with renewed momentum.
