FG urges Nigerians to support initiatives, appreciate interventions

The Federal Government has made a passionate appeal to Nigerians to appreciate and support its numerous initiatives aimed at bettering the lives of citizens and promoting national growth.

Ibrahim Adamu Ladan, Head of Center, Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, made the plea during a sensitization program on eleven key Federal Government initiatives and interventions at state and local government levels held in Bauchi.

He said the sensitization program was aimed to educate participants on the benefits and impact of Federal Government initiatives, fostering greater understanding and cooperation.

Ladan explained that all Federal Government initiatives and interventions were aimed at alleviating the sufferings of Nigerians, highlighting key components of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“These initiatives are designed to address critical areas of need, promote economic growth, and improve the overall well-being of Nigerians,” he emphasized.

According to him some of the notable interventions include, disbursement of over 2 trillion naira in student loans to support education.

“100% salary increment for workers, with automatic reviews every 3 years and Youth empowerment programs to tackle unemployment.

“Presidential CNG initiative (Pi-CNG) to provide affordable energy alternatives and ease fuel subsidy removal and agricultural programs to boost food security.

Others are housing initiatives to provide affordable shelter,” he said

Ladan urged Nigerians to avail themselves of the opportunities provided by these initiatives and support the Federal Government’s efforts.

“Let us work together towards a brighter future for Nigeria,” he concluded.

On her part, The State Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA) Mrs Teresa Omaga, urged states and local governments to key into Federal Government policies and programs.

“Collaboration is crucial for effective implementation and maximum impact,” Omaga stressed.

Also Speaking,Bauchi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Usman Danturaki, applauded the Federal Government’s foresight in initiating programs aimed at reforming the economy and promoting national growth.

The Nigerian Union of Journalists Chairman, Umar Saidu, and NTA General Manager, Fatima Isah, commended the initiatives and encouraged Bauchi residents to take advantage of the programs to improve their livelihood.
