Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has paid a condolence visit to his Borno State counterpart, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, and the people of Borno State, following the devastating flood that ravaged the state.
The flood disaster resulted in significant loss of lives and properties, prompting Governor Mohammed to offer heartfelt condolences on behalf of himself and the people of Bauchi State.
During the visit, Governor Mohammed announced a donation of ₦250 million to support the flood victims. Additionally, he pledged humanitarian aid consisting of food, shelter materials, and medical supplies.
“It has cost lives and properties, and we are pained up to this moment,” Governor Mohammed said, expressing his deep sympathy for the affected communities.
He prayed that the support would help alleviate the suffering of the flood victims and contribute to the state’s recovery efforts.
