APC Reps Caucus Declares Support for Party’s Candidates in Edo Governorship Polls, Donates ₦200 Million for Campaign

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus in the House of Representatives has pledged its unwavering support for Senator Monday Okpebholo and Hon.

 

Dennis Idahosa, the party’s candidates for the upcoming Edo governorship election. Both Senator Okpebholo and Hon. Idahosa are sitting members of the National Assembly.

In a strong demonstration of solidarity and loyalty to the party, the APC Reps Caucus contributed a sum of ₦200 million towards the party’s campaign for the September 21 governorship polls.

 

The donation, made by individual members of the APC in the 10th House, was coordinated under the leadership of Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu.

 

The Caucus expressed its determination to leave no stone unturned in ensuring the party’s victory in Edo State, emphasizing their commitment to supporting Senator Okpebholo and Hon. Idahosa—esteemed colleagues who have consistently shown capacity and competence in their public service.

 

The cheque for the donation was presented by the Leader of the House, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, OON. The presentation was witnessed by Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, Clerk of the House of Representatives, Hon. Billy Osawaru, and Prof. Jake Dan-Azumi, Chief of Staff to the Speaker.
