Eid El Maulud: “Pray for leaders at all levels to succeed” Senator Almakura Advices Muslims

Says Tinubu’s administration taught economic reforms decisions are geared towards building a better and prosperous Nigeria for the good of all…. sympathises with the government and the people of Borno state on the recent flood disaster.

 

As Muslims the world over celebrates the birthday of the holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the pillar of Islam, former Governor of Nasarawa State Distinguished Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura has called on them to use the period to pray for leaders at levels to succeed considering the enermous security and economic challenges facing the country.

The former Governor who holds the traditional title of Sardaunan Gwandara world wide underscores the significance of Eid El Maulud symbolising the commemoration of the birth of the beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

According to him the event no doubt provides opportunity for Muslims to offer prayers seeking Allah’s intervention to heal the country from its present predicament.

Senator Almakura who acknowledged that there is hardship in the country following government taught economic reforms policies, equally encouraged Nigerians to consider it as a sign of good things to come.

While congratulating Muslims on the Eid El Maulud celebration, Senator Almakura appealed for more patience and understanding with President Tinubu APC led administration to succeed just as he called on leaders to rule with the fear of God .

Sardaunan Gwandara advocated the need for the well to do people to extend olive ranch to the needy,poor and the people living with disabilities as part of deliberate efforts towards cushioning their plights as teaches and practiced by Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

The Nasarawa State former Governor also used the opportunity to commiserate with the government and the people of Borno state on the loss of lives and property occasioned by one of the deadly flood disasters in the history of Maiduguri and advised the appropriate authorities to always take a swift response .
