The federal government has declared Monday 16th of September 2024 to mark EID-el Mawlud celebrations.
The Minister of Interior Dr. olubunmi Tunji in a press release congratulates the Muslim Ummah both home and in the diaspora for the occasion of the birth of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him).
The statement which was signed by Dr. Magdalene Ajani, permanent secretary of the ministry of Interior stated that, Dr. Tunji urges Muslims and by extension Nigerians at large to emulated the spirit of patience, sacrifice and resilience.
While congratulating the Muslim Umrah, the minister enjoined them to use the opportunity of the period and pray for more patience, prosperous and more egalitarian Nation
