The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D, has eulogized the Vice-President, Senator Kashim Shettima, who clocks 58 on Monday.
Speaker Abbas said VP Shettima has been a dependable ally to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and a stabilizing factor in the current administration and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Speaker, in a congratulatory message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, in Abuja on Monday noted that Senator Shettima’s astounding performance as two-term governor of Borno State stands out.
“Vice-President Shettima was astounding as governor of Borno State, as Senator of the Federal Republic, and still shines as Vice-President of Nigeria.
“He keeps blazing the trail. Nigeria needs more public servants like him,” Speaker Abbas said.
The Speaker wished VP Shettima more years of service to the country, in sound health, and an increased wisdom from the Almighty God.
