Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the immediate suspension of four key officials in his cabinet.
The affected officials include Hon. Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Hon. Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.
Also affected is Hon. Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Hon. Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency.
In a statement signed by Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs Office of the Executive Governor of Plateau State said the suspension takes immediate effect.
There was no explanation leading to their suspension but it may not be unconnected with the recently concluded PDP local government primaries which was fraught with violence and crisis.
