The 4th edition of the 2024 annual Federal Education Sector Games (FEDUGAM) among it’s agencies set to kicked off on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in Bauchi State
Dr Jamila Dahiru, State Commissioner for Education at a news conference on Monday said all arrangements are concluded to host the event.
“The games, which kicked off on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS), will bring together staff from agencies under the Federal Ministry of Education.
“The purpose of the games is to promote teamwork, socialization, and physical fitness among staff.
“The essence is to ensure that all agencies under the Federal Ministry of Education come together as a team and use the avenue to keep fit, relax, and improve their welfare and morale,” she said.
The Commissioner’ further said the event would give the state the opportunity to to interact with the federal agencies of the federal Ministry education.
According to her, the five-day event will feature various sports, including football, athletics, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, and local sports.
Our Correspondent reports that the participating agencies include the Federal Ministry of Education, UBEC, TETFUND, NECO, NOUN, NABTEB, Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), and JAMB, among others.
