PDP youth dispels rumor of defection to opposition party in Bauchi

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Youth in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area (LGA) of Bauchi State have dispelled rumors of defection to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Youth Chairman,Mr Danjuma Zakka Arewa and Mr Ayuba Bulus who is the Secretary, gathered to express their loyalty to the PDP led administration of Governor Bala Mohammed’s developmental strides in the area.

They commended the Governor for the massive road infrastructure projects in Tafawa Balewa local government, the projects have improved the lives of residents in the area.

The youth also hail the governor for appointing their sons and daughters into various political positions, demonstrating his commitment to inclusivity and sense of belonging.

They however appreciated the stakeholders in the local government area for their intervention following the news of their defection.

The Youth group further calls on the stakeholders to do more to ensure tangible youth development in the area, urging the government to provide more opportunities for skills acquisition, education, and economic empowerment.

The leader of the youth Mr Danjuma Arewa, while speaking to journalists, said, “We are proud to be members of the PDP, and we have no intention of defecting to the APC.

“We appreciate Governor Bala’s efforts in developing our area and empowering our youths. We only ask for more to be done to address the challenges facing our generation.

The declaration of loyalty and appreciation by PDP youths in Tafawa Balewa LGA is a testament to Governor Bala’s impact in the area.
