The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON, has approves the Construction of a N1.6 Billion Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit at General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital
During the 6th Regular Executive Council Meeting yesterday, Governor Radda approved significant funds for crucial projects in health sector over 1.6 billion naira for the construction and provision of equipment for the pharmaceutical manufacturing unit at General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital, Katsina.
The State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Bashir Gambo Saulawa announced that the contract, awarded to a reputable construction firm, has a completion period of six months.
According to Saulawa, the unit will initially produce Vitamin B and C syrups and magnesium silicate, with plans to expand to tablet production in the second phase.
