A humanitarian organisation,Yayasan Budi Ihsan Malaysia,(YBIM) based in Malaysia has sacrificed over 3000 cows, goats and rams as qurban meat that would be distributed to the vulnerable Palestine.

The Representative of the Organisation in Nigeria Mr Zaid Mohammed Tukur disclosed this while slaughtering the animals on Saturday in Bauchi,

He said the meat would be processed into mincemeat for distribution to the vulnerable Palestine.

Mohammed explained that YBIM is determined to distribute the retort meat packs to as many poor and needy under the Ihsan Palestine 2024M/ 1445H in Palestine.

According to him, the donation is part of their Eid-el Kabir sacrifice to the vulnerable Palestinians who have been oppressed by Israel for the past 260 days.

“The sacrificial cattles were secured and slaughtered in Nigeria and Chad with special appreciation to the people of Malaysia who contributed their money towards achieving that feat.

The donation tagged “Korban Ihsan Palestin 2024M/1445H” was carried out through “Yayasan Budi Ihsan Malaysia”,” he said

Mohammed said some of the qurbani meat will be kept in the Cold Room for at least two weeks under the temperature of minus eighteen degree.

“For two weeks to one month, the meat will be processed as mincemeat and packaged for transportation into palestine.

“We pray to Allah (SWT) to shower His blessings to the good people of Malaysia whose generous contributions begotten what was witnessed as Eid-el Kabir Sacrifice donation to the oppressed Palestinians,” he said.

He also emphasised that while the programme is significant, it cannot compare to the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Prophet Ismail, to Allah SWT.

The representative urged individuals to emulate this sacrifice and translate it into a habit of helping the vulnerable in the society.

“We hope this contribution brings joy to the recipients and as well give them a sense of love of one another,” he said
