Devote on peace, love, Bauchi D/ Governor urged Muslim faithfuls

The Deputy Governor of Bauchi State Alhaji Auwal Mohammed Jatau has urged the Muslims faithful to devote their time on the virtues of love, peace, charity, tolerance, and commitment to peaceful co-existence, as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

Jatau made the call in an interview with newsmen after two rakat prayers of Eid El Adah on Sunday in Bauchi.

He also appealed to the Muslims faithful to conduct themselves and celebrate peacefully across the State.

Jatau appreciated Almighty Allah for the peaceful and successful conduct of two rakat prayers in the state.

He also appealed to motorists to observe traffic regulations so as minimise accidents on our highways throughout the period of Eid-el-Kabir celebration and beyond.

The Deputy further appealed to parents to monitor the movement of their children and reduce the incidents of missing children during this festivity.

He reiterates the irrevocable commitment of their administration to serve the good people of Bauchi State better than it did during their first term.

“We would continue to be aggressive while executing programmes and projects that have direct bearing on your lives, especially infrastructural development. Jatau said.

He however assured people of the state to continue providing a peaceful atmosphere for business activities to stripe in the state.
