Nigerian Police concludes 12-day Security Sector Reform Course held from May 6-17, 2024 – Photos

The Nigerian Police to lady held a closing ceremony of the 12-day Security Sector Reform Course, the course was held from May 6-17, 2024, at the Nigeria Police Peacekeeping Training Centre, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

 

According to a post on the Nigerian Police force Facebook page, the course was organized in collaboration with the German Government and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC).

 

 

Police Officers in mid-level managerial positions (SPs and CSPs) from various units and commands participated in the training, which covered Human Rights and Police Reform, Conflict Management, Counter-Terrorism Measures, and Police Oversight and Accountability.

 

At the closing ceremony, Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG Frank Mba, represented by AIG Yetunde Longe, urged the graduates to apply their new knowledge and experience to enhance the efficiency of the Police Force, emphasizing that the future of the profession lies in their hands.
