IGP inaugurate MOPOL Base 10 squadron in Bauchi

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun has inaugurated the Nigerian Mobile Police (MOPOL) Base 10, squadron in Bauchi.

Egbetokun inaugurated the MOPOL Base Administrative office with the support of Governor Bala Mohammed on Wednesday in Bauchi.

He said the Base consists of a complete Administrative Block with offices, a Quarter Guard and an access road.

The IGP said the structure was done under the corporate responsibility project of TIAMIN Rice Ltd, Bauchi.

 

Egbetokun commended the MD/CEO of TIAMIN Rice Ltd for the support of the NPF saying that it is worthy of emulation by other well-spirited individuals to continue to support the Nigerian Police force.

 

He assured that the structure will be put to effective use as it will serve as a motivation to the MOPOL personnel.

 

“As they performed their professional and constitutional function of protection of lives and property of innocent Nigerians,” he said

 

In a remark, Gov Mohammed commended the company for embarking on the project that would have a positive impact on the people of the state.

 

Mohammed stressed that security is everybody’s business, therefore, the a need for all hands to be on deck to achieve a peaceful society.

 

On his part, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Tiamin Rice Mill Alhaji Aminu Mohammed said the project was part of corporate social responsibility.

 

He said the company doesn’t always hesitate to give back to society the needed support, especially the security agencies.
