Nigeria’s senate president Godswill Akpabio has led a delegation from Nigeria to Cote d’Ivoire to support Nigeria’s Super Eagles in their match against Angola.
Senator Simon Lalong in a post on Facebook revealed that the high-powered delegation is going to rally around the players who have been doing well in the tournament
Lalong wrote;
“Today, I joined H.E. Senate President Godswill Akpabio on a journey to Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, to rally behind the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they face Angola in the quarterfinals. The nation stands united in support of the Eagles, and I am confident they will bring pride to us. Go Eagles”!
Others in the entourage include Senator Ned Nwoko, deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu and the rest.
