First lady Remi Tinubu Hails Okonjo-Iweala, Mo Abudu for their new achievement

 

Nigeria’s  First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Saturday hailed the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and media mogul, Mo Abudu, for their latest achievement.

 

 

The duo made the list of the Forbes 100 Most Influential Women 2023.

Tinubu took to her X page on Saturday to congratulate the women on their achievements.

She wrote, “Congratulations to Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala #NOIweala , Ms Mo Abudu #MoAbudu , and all Forbes 100 Most Influential Women!

“Your achievements bring me great joy and the assurance that there truly is hope for Nigeria women,filling me with immense pride.

“Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, your leadership at the WTO inspires hope for a better world. Ms Mo Abudu, your groundbreaking work in entertainment is commendable. This recognition symbolizes collective empowerment, breaking barriers for women globally and in Nigeria in particular.

“As I look forward to greater achievements, I urge the younger ones to understand that the space at the top is wide enough and you can get there through the help of God, hard work, resilience, dedication and commitment to a good cause.

“Here is to the promise of a brighter future to our beloved country Nigeria.”
