The Nigerian Senate received President Bola Tinubu’s request for Screening and Confirmation of
Shaakaa Chira as Substantive Auditor-General of the Federation.
The president says the nomination is in action 86 sub-section one of the Constitution (1999)as recommended by the Federal Civil Service Commission
The request is contained in a letter read by the president of the Senate Godswill Akpabio on Tuesday during plenary.
The request is referred to the Senate Committee on Public Accounts for further legislative action to report back in one week.
