Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, Mallam Jalal Arabi has called on the state welfare board secretaries to join hands with the Commission to achieve success in the running of hajj activities.
Mallam Arabi said this during a meeting with Chief Executives of state welfare Boards, Chairmen, Agencies and the Commission on Tuesday 31st October at the Hajj House in Abuja.
The meeting was held to discuss the level of preparedness regarding the 2024 Hajj by the states, some of the challenges of the past hajj, the first pre-hajj visit, securing of Makka accommodation and feeding, and visa deadline amongst other things.
Delivering his welcoming address, the chief executive officer Arabi, said that the Muslim umma will be at ease when they know that the leadership of the body is strong and reliable.
He called on all the secretaries of the states and all stakeholders in Hajj affairs to collaborate as well as extend a hand of friendship to achieve the smooth running of the industry.
