Give Tinubu time to take Nigeria to the next level: TNT group pleaded -Videos

 

A group under the name of  Tinubu National Think-Tank has called on Nigerians to be more patient with the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is just commencing.

The National Coordinator of the group, Ambassador (Dr) Adewale Adeogun made the call during the formal presentation of the report by the TNT Ad-Hoc committee in a world press Conference which took place on Thursday 26th October at the TNT secretariat in Utako, Abuja.

In a welcome address, Ambassador Adewale revealed that the committee which was headed by Otunba (Dr ) Fatai Olukoga was inaugurated in July 2023  to support the government of Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu and monitor the activities of his carbonate was concluded and needle to make it public.

“I welcome you most sincerely to the formal Presentation of this Report by the Tinubu National Think-Tank (TNT) AD-HOC COMMITTEE constituted to draft a Constitution and put modalities in place for the Formal Registration of TNT as a Think-Tank to support the Government of His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)”.

“You would recall that the 15-man  committee was headed by Otunba (Dr.) Fatai Olajide Olukoga, with Barrister Lukmon Alawaye as the Secretary. The Committee was inaugurated on the 15th of July, 2023 with the mandate of developing a Strategic Framework of action on how best  TNT as a National Think-Tank for the Government of His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) can work together for Social stability, Media Advocacy and Outreach, Good Governance, Peace Mediation and Continuity for the betterment of our members and the entire Citizenry”.

“Today, we are formally representing the report of the committee with a well-defined Structure and Procedures for Membership and meetings.

The coordinator further revealed plans to form a standard structure as far as the Tinubu Think Tank group is concerned.

“We also plan for a well-constituted Board of Trustees and a 15-man Standing Committee to kick-start this National Project on a well-defined system and Structure”.

“The Standing Committee is also going to be headed by Otunba (Dr.) Fatai Olajide Olukoga and Barrister Lukemon Alawaye as the Secretary and Some Members of the Ad-Hoc Committee have now transitioned to the Standing Committee”.

“Today, I am proud to say that TNT has come to stay to support the Government and the Party in the areas of Good Governance, Social Responsibility, Media Advocacy, and Citizens’ Engagement and Mobilisation”.

“We shall have Key Political and Non-Political Figures on our Board of Trustees for better engagement with the Government and the Party”.

“We shall also have Members who are committed and determined to support the Government and the Party to achieve Good Governance and Social Justice through Poverty Alleviation and Employment Generation for our collective benefit’.

“Part of our other various achievements shall be rolled out during the Questions and Answers sessions with the Press”.

“I am confident that our Labour will not go in vain”.

The group has however made open membership registration to be a part of the the TNT movement.

“We have also noted the Registration Process to become members of TNT, Activities, and Meetings, culminating in the Annual General Meeting (AGM). This will be activated soon”.

” With the strength of our Board of Trustees and members, the other recommendation for a close relationship with the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Party will be strengthened.”

“The Standing Committee will proceed with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registration very soon”.

“It is, therefore, my pleasure to formally present this report to the public, and charge Members to commit to the Letters and Principles of our Constitution for our collective good and Good Governance, Economic Prosperity and Democratic Stability of our Dear Country Nigeria”.

Earlier,  the Chairman of the Ad-Hoc Committee Otunba (Dr) Fatai Olukoga presented the report to the National Coordinator of the group who later presented it to the public.

Meanwhile, Dr Ebenezer Leo, Tinubu National Think Tank Organization while making his presentation pleaded with Nigerians to be patient with President Tinubu and allow him to settle down first to face the job squarely.

Dr Ebenezer also highlighted some of the president’s reforms which are underway to ease the sufferings of Nigerians, he also encouraged those mooring behind the scenes to excise more patients as appointments are still ongoing and that many party faithful and those who supported the president’s emergence into power will not be left behind.

Hon. Doris Amaka, leader of the Young Female Leadership organisation advises that President Tinubu should not hand over the palliative money to governors, rather it should be channelled towards improving the infrastructure that will help business owners to strive, she noted that the money might not reach the target audience at the end of the day.
