Forum of State MPWBs/Agencies/Commission Chief Executives, congratulates New NAHCON Chairman/CEO Arabi

 

The Forum of Chief Executive Officers of State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards/Agencies/ Commissions, under the Chairmanship of Malam Idris Ahmad Almakura, has congratulated the newly appointed Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Alhaji Jalal Ahmad Arabi.

 

 

In a statement personally signed by Idris Almakura, chairman of the Forum expresses optimism that the new NAHCON boss will bring his wealth of experience to bear in charting a new course for the Nigerian Hajj Industry while consolidating on milestones achieved.

 

 

Almakura further urged the incoming chairman to ensure the promotion of an inclusive policy that will continue to recognize the impact and status of the States in ensuring the continued simplification of the process of performing Hajj while ensuring the pilgrims get value for their money.

 

 

The antecedents of Mr Arabi as a seasoned technocrat who believes in the application of law, probity and accountability, have raised optimism in the Forum that all contentious issues bordering on proper implementation of the provisions of the NAHCON’s Act and other Saudi Arabian regulations will be revisited to ensure proper delineation of responsibilities between the Commission and the States.

 

 

Accordingly, the Forum Chairman Idris Almakura, who also doubles as the Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, gave assurance of the Forum’s readiness to work wholeheartedly with the new NAHCON Chairman towards achieving all the beautiful goals set to further improve Hajj performance in Nigeria.
