The National Bureau of Statistics has disclosed that the consumer price index (CPI), which measures the rate of change in prices of goods and services, has risen to 26.72 per cent in September 2023.
The Cable reports that the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in its CPI report for September, released on Monday 16th October revealed that the consumer price index (CPI) which used to be 25.80 per cent in the previous month has skyrocketed to 26.72%
This is coming amid the already hardship being faced by the citizens since the removal of fuel subsidy on 29th May 2023 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
