Hon. Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who represented the Isa-Sabon Birni, federal constituency is dead.
Africa Gazette reports that Aminu Almustapha (also known as Boza), a member of the Sokoto State House of Assembly for Sabon Birni South, confirmed the death.
Boza said the federal politician died on Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. after a brief illness. He was reportedly admitted to the hospital around Tuesday midday.
“His remains would be taken to the National Mosque for the bathing ritual after which it would be flown to Sokoto for burial around 11 a.m.,” Almustapha said.
Danbuga is survived by two wives, many children and grandchildren.
