Gov Mohammed celebrate return of daily flight to Bauchi

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has expressed appreciation over the resumption of daily flights from Abuja to Bauchi by Value Jet Airline

Our correspondent reports that commercial flights had stopped landing at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport in July 2023.

Mohammed stated this at the
at the inaugural ceremony of the Value Jet Airline operations in Bauchi on Tuesday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa international Airport.

Hei appreciated the management of Value Jet Airline operators for bringing their operations to flight Abuja to Bauchi.

“As we celebrate the resumption of daily flights from Abuja to Bauchi by Value Jet Airline it’s a milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance transportation,

“We also facilitate the movement of goods, services, and people, and promote the growth of our great state.

“Transportation is the lifeblood of any thriving economy, and flights from Abuja to Bauchi play a pivotal role in connecting our state with the rest of the nation,” he said.

He added that It’s a crucial artery for the exchange of commerce, ideas, and culture.

The Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to promoting ease of doing business and ensuring the safety of passengers.

“The State is open to doing business with the world. A well-functioning airport is vital for harnessing the tourism and investment opportunities in Bauchi State and the northern part of Nigeria,” Mohammed said

Also Speaking, the Managing Director, ValueJet, Airline Capt. Omololu Majekodunmi promised to provide effective and timely Services to the routes.
