Bauchi D/Governor inaugurated Nurses house, urges for patients bill of rights

The Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Mohammed Auwal Jatau has inaugurated the newly constructed Nurses House by the state council of the Nurses and Midwives Association, urging the Association to observe patients’ bill of rights act.

 

Speaking at the commissioning of the edifice weekend in Bauchi, he urged other affiliated organizations to follow the example set by NANNM in providing conducive and functional facilities for better service delivery of their activities.

 

The Deputy Governor urged the Nurses to always respect the patients bill of rights for quality health care delivery.

Auwal Jatau extended his appreciation to the state leadership and all the dedicated Nurses of Bauchi State for their collective efforts in constructing the nurses house.

“I stand here on behalf of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON Kauran Bauchi, to commission this remarkable Nurses House. It is indeed an honor to be invited to this event and witness the realization of this significant project.

“We celebrate the successful completion of this project, a testament to the visionary leadership of Comr. Ibrahim Maikudi and his team. I extend my warmest congratulations to him,

The State Administrative Council members, and all the Nurses and Midwives of Bauchi State. This Nurses House stands as a symbol of their commitment to excellence and the remarkable progress achieved under their guidance.

“I would like to congratulate the leadership of NANNM in the Northern states on the successful conduct of your joint zonal meeting.

Once again, I commend everyone involved in making this Nurses House a reality and look forward to witnessing the positive impact it will have on healthcare delivery in Bauchi State.

Jatau said the state government had consistently prioritized the health sector since assuming office in 2019 because of the vital role played by health workers, including the dedicated Nurses and Midwives, who tirelessly serve communities round the clock.

Earlier, Comrade Maikudi appreciate the Deputy Governor for being there for them, we want appreciate you for coming to commission the nurses house

He said the nurses were secure and built by the Association without a dime coming from any quarter , saying that the Association is up and doing to protect the interest of its members.

Maikudi assures that the Association is ready to partner the government in providing quality healthcare in the state.
