The Gombe State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police CP Oqua Etim, is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and security of the citizens of the state In light of recent incidents in neighboring Adamawa state, the Command warns members of the public to be law-abiding and never engage in any form of criminal activities.

A statement signed by Asp Mahid Muazu Abubakar, ANIPR, Police Public Relations Officer of the state, stated that, the Cp has directed all heads of departments, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Commanders to maintain a heightened level of vigilance in their respective areas of responsibility. They have also been directed to collaborate closely with other security agencies to share information and intelligence, ensuring a coordinated effort to address any emerging threats.
CP Oqua Etim acknowledges the concerns and challenges faced by the residents of Gombe and urges them to remain calm and law-abiding during these difficult times. The Commissioner assures the public that the government is actively working to alleviate their hardships and restore normalcy.
