GMBNI’ NGO constructs open wells worth N1.6 million naira in Jigawa communities

Grassroots Mobilizers for Better Nigeria Initiative (GMBNI) a Non-Governmental Organisation working for the Socio-economic development of Vulnerable and poor ones in society has Spent over One Million, Six Hundred  thousand Naira (₦1,600,000) in providing Open Well at various Communities in Jigawa State.

 

The State Coordinator of the Initiative Abbas Rufa’i Wangara disclosed this while handing over the Projects on behalf of the National Chairperson Hajiya (Dr.) Fatima Mohammed Goni to the benefitted communities in the State.

 

Abbas Wangara said that the gesture is to compliment the State government’s effort in providing portable drinking water to the hard-reached Communities in Jigawa State.

 

He, therefore expressed that the Initiative provided foodstuffs to many affected communities during last year’s flood disaster and COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The Communities that benefitted from the Open Well project are; Nasarawan-Dinya and Ginzau Fulani Communities in the Kiyawa Local Government area, Sabarari and Katsama Communities in the Buji Local Government area, Lukutun Karewa, Kafin-Fulani Communities in the Gwaram Local Government area, and Malamawa Fulani Community in Dutse Local Government area.

 

Abbas Rufa’i Wangara reiterated the organization’s commitment to supporting Vulnerable and poor ones in society about their socio-economic development.

 

 

He therefore called on wealthy individuals to emulate the habit of assisting the needy to protect and reduce the hardship that the people found themselves in.
