CP jigawa state presents cheques worth N43mlln to families of slain officers in the state

 

 

 

On 19/06/2023, the Jigawa State Police Command, under the able leadership of CP. Emmanuel Effiom Ekot presents cheques worth Forty-Three million, one hundred and twenty-five thousand, eight hundred and seventy-two Naira, ninety-seven Kobo (#43,125, 872. 97K) to fifty-one (51) families of slain Police Officers on behalf of the Inspector – General of Police.

 

The beneficiaries, who were presented with cheques, are the Next of Kin to the deceased Police Officers.

 

The presentation of the cheques is part of the Group Life Assurance Benefits, Group Personal Accident, and IGP Family Welfare Insurance Schemes being given to the families of deceased Police Officers.

A statement signed by the PPRO of Jigawa State DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam stated that, the Commissioner of Police, while presenting the cheques, appreciates the efforts of the Inspector General of Police, for improving the welfare of the Officers and Men of the Nigeria Police Force and urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money for their betterment.
