President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is yet to make a formal pronouncement on the presiding officers of the 10th National Assembly, some northern leaders are reportedly insisting that the north produce both the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Naija News reports that Tinubu had on Thursday met with lawmakers-elect at Aso Rock Villa Thursday night, but some of the contenders, including former governors of Zamfara and Abia states, Abdulaziz Yari and Orji Kalu, among others, were absent at the meeting.
Nigerians who are not too comfortable with the development are airing theor views about the issue on ground.

Comments: Orji Uzor Kalu is the biggest problem the southern part of the country is having. This is a man that recently killed his wife for ritual so as to enabled him become the next senate president of Nigeria.
From time inception, he has never been seen supporting a southern candidate for anything.
He fought Olusegun Obasanjo as the president of the country who whistleblowers said was his mother baby papa to Good luck Jonathan becoming vice presidential candidate to Yar’Adua, to Peter Obi choosing by Atiku Abubakar as Vice Presidential candidate, to Peter Obi and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be the flag bearers of PDP and APC before Obi ran away to Labour party.
At last he supported Ahmed Lawan to be the presidential candidate for the APC during the primary election. And refused to climbed the rostrum and campaigned for the president until he won. Today, he’s supporting another northern Moslem candidate to the detriment of his south south brother or neighbour, because he want to be deputy to a northerner.
Thank God, his case with the EFCC and court is still hanging and not discharged and acquitted. He will be back to them soon ….
