We are ready for May 29 inauguration/swearing-in ceremony-Jigawa CP

 

The Jigawa state police command said it has put everything in place and are ready for the 29th May transition of power ceremony.

 

 

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations officer of the state DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam warn the general public against fomenting any trouble on that the.

 

His statement reads:

 

“This is to inform the general public that, all security arrangements have been put in place for the hitch-free May 29 inauguration ceremony/ swearing in the new administration, scheduled to take place at Aminu Kano Triangle, Dutse metropolitan, Jigawa state.

 

“The police will work assiduously with Sister Security Agencies and Relevant Stakeholders for the seamless inauguration ceremony.

“Therefore, the command warns that non-state actors or any aggrieved persons or individuals who may plan to foment trouble are advised to desist, as the command will not hesitate to subdue confrontational or any act of disorderliness.

“The command is advising good people of Jigawa to turn out to the venue in an orderly manner and avoid carrying dangerous weapons or items that may trigger suspicion or apprehension. They should also avoid dangerous driving, over-loading, and over-speeding and observed traffic rules and regulations.
