The intending pilgrims who are being conveyed in an 18-seater bus from Nasarawa State to Abuja for airlifting to Saudi Arabia on Thursday for the 2023 Hajj got involved in a road crash.
The accident reportedly occurred around Kara, Keffi Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.
ROtv24 gathered in a brief phone interview with the Executive secretary of the Nassarawa state Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Ahmed Almakura, that some occupants sustained minor injuries however, no life was lost.
Almakura also disclosed that the few injured intending pilgrims are recieving treatment at the hospital in Keffi.
ROtv24 had earlier reported that the Inaugural flight for the 2023 hajj pilgrimage will take place on the 25th, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria would hold inaugural flight ceremony on Thursday at the local wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja which Nasarawa state are the first.
