Breaking news: NAHCON announces 2023 Hajj fare

 

 

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, has today 7th April announced  Hajj fare for the year 2023 pilgrimage.

 

 

Briefing journalist this morning at the Hajj house conference room at the hajj house in Abuja, the cost of a seat of Hajj seat by tge Nigerian intending Pilgrims stamds a little below N3mln, three million Naira only.

 

Alhaji Zikirullah Kunle Hassan while announcing categorised the hajj fare into eight different prices with pilgrims flying from Yola and Maiduguri  paying N2,800,000 while those flying from other northern states to pay N2,919,000.00 only.

 

Alhaji Hassan also revealed that the southern part of the country has six different costs for hajj. He said pilgrims will pay Edo state N2,968,000.00, while their Ekiti and Ondo counterparts will pay N2,880,000.000.

 

Pilgrims travelling from Cross River will pay N2,943,000.00, Osun will pay N2,983,000.00 while pilgrims from Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states will pay N2,999,000.000. Alhaji Hassan announced that pilgrims from the south south and south eastern. States will pay N2,968,000.00

 

He however noted that the difference in the cost is as a result of the different cost of the airfare components, because some locations are closer to Saudi Arabia while others are not.
