The All Progressives Congress (APC) Group One Bauchi Siyasa Bada Gababa has appealed to all its members and supporters to remain calm and peaceful in the state.
It could be recalled that APC Governorship Candidate retired Air Marshal Saddique Abubakar suffered defeat from the incumbent governor Bala Mohammed at the 18 Saturday, Governorship and state assembly.
Hajiya Hassan Abdullahi, founder of the group and former woman leader APC North Central made the appeal while addressing members of the group on Tuesday in Bauchi.
She calls on members to resist all acts of provocation as they await the results of the outcome of the stakeholders of the party..
Abbdullahi said the post-election moment, when all APC supporters eagerly awaiting for the outcome of elections, is a tense moment, hence nothing must be done to disturb the peace or cause disunity of the state.
‘’We must begin the very critical process of healing all the wounds inflicted by the rancorous election result of Governorship by INEC in the state.
It is quite unfortunate and disheartening that the exercise is being characterized by election misconducts such as intimidation of voters by thugs ,vote buying and harassment as well as compromising the use of BVAS in the state.
“We rejected the popurted election figures and INEC declaration of the governorship election to ensure justice has been done,” Hassan Abdullahi Said,
On his part, the secretary of the group Alhaji Aminu Mohammed appreciated People of Bauchi state for coming out en masse to vote for APC and the governorship candidate Saddique Abubakar.
Also Speaking, Hajiya Rasheeda Bala Jibrin said the mandate stolen from APC would definitely return to Them in APC.
“We would not leave any stone unturned till the mandate of Baba Saddique returned to us in APC.” She said,
