The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (BMPWB) to commence registration of 2023 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in the state.
This is contained in a statement by PRO of the Board Malam Muhammad Sani Yunusa made available to Journalists on Monday in Bauchi.
He said Governor Bala Mohammed has approved for the commencement of this year Hajj and Umra registration excercise.
“The sum of N1,500,000 to Two N2,500,000 has been approved as 2023 hajj deposit pending the announcement of final fare by National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON.
“The sum of N 1.000.000 is also considered as the minimum deposit for this year’s ramadan umrah,” he said
The PRO advice all prospective depositors are advised to come to the Board’s Secretariat for the collection of umra deposit Teller.
“The Board has also scheduled *Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th January for issuance of the Hajj deposit Bank Tellers to intending pilgrims
“Wednesday 1st – Saturday 4th February* for the submission of Bank Teller’s copies to obtain official receipts at the Board or Local Government Councils in the state, as there would be no proxy,” he said.
Yunusa said all intending hajj and umrah pilgrims are expected to cooperate maximally in order to ensure a hitch free Hajj operation,” he said.
